The motors for the drive of the heat-free compressors of refrigerating machines are three-phase asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor of the AIRV and 4AVR series. Two-pole motors (synchronous rotation speed 3000 rpm) are used to drive screw compressors. Four- and six-pole motors (synchronous speeds of 1500 rpm and 1000 rpm) are used to drive reciprocating compressors.
